This makes me want to get lost on a deserted island.

rocks

Near the ocean baths.

This is next to the ocean baths. I think the little hut is where they open up the baths to let the water out.

hut thing

I like this hut.  You can tell from the angle that I’m stalking it.

It’s not a true crazy cat lady blog without SOME cat photos

little monster

My little monster having a serious think with her tongue stinking out, the only way to do it.

  1. Dearest Ingrid. Greetings from The Other Former British (and French) Penal Colony, Canada!

I have been an Australophile ever since I had one ear amputated and found out your fair nation has one-sided hats as standard equipment and living teddy bears with breath that smells like Vick’s Vaporub. I’ve never been to Australia but, one day, I intend to visit and I’ll make a point of visiting the North South West region in which you live. Is that where the kahlua bears live? I just want to let you know that I’ve switched to amaretto because killing those bears just to make a liqueur is immoral and would make me feel guilty because I enjoy it so much.

    • I had a lovely time frolicking through your photos 🙂 I loved them. You seem to travel a little bit?

Australia is beautiful. I hope you get to see it one day! Make sure to give yourself plenty of time, because this is a big country. Big Australian hugs back to you!

  3. Hi, Ingrid. Thanks for following my blog and for liking so many of my entries (whether you read then or not)! With a silly, single click of a button a single click of a button you validated my efforts to amuse others. Of course I write for myself, but who doesn’t enjoy an audience now and then? Otherwise I’d just keep a diary. I look forward to checking out what you’ve been up to 🙂 I already know that aesthetically your blog is way ahead of me. Maybe I’m in need of a makeover. Expect the little stars to start showing in you notifications soon. All the best!

    • I was supposed to be writing a presentation, but instead I procrastinated on your blog, so I promise I read all of your posts! I only stopped because I realised that I was beginning to look a little stalkerish by silently liking your posts but not commenting. I like your blog, it was very funny and a great way to avoid doing my presentation 🙂

  4. Oh gods … please don’t follow me, or correspond with me in any way … you sound more like me than I do and my days aren’t long enough already.

Now to explore your site to make sure I haven’t fallen in love prematurely. Don’t wait up …

  5. … and no ‘like’ button on this post. I get that a lot, so you’ll just have to accept it as liked. (If one appears later I’ll hit it) (they sometimes do).

  6. Bugger … I own a Kindle … an entire library in my camera case wherever I go: beat that, paper!

But you’re right, it’s a sorry second best (but better than nowt when needed).

  7. Hello there! I was picked by a fellow blogger for his Virtual Blog Tour: the idea is that a blogger introduces three of his or her favourite blogs and answers one or two fast questions about his or her creative process. The Virtual Blog Tour post appears on Monday — the post that introduced me appeared just today and the link is here: http://ronovanwrites.wordpress.com/2014/06/30/virtual-blog-tour-the-talented-and-then-me/.

Next Monday, my own Virtual Blog Tour post will appear — and I’d like to introduce your blog along with two others. I hope you’re OK with being introduced this way — and I’d be happy if you could join in the Virtual Blog Tour the week after that. This would give you two weeks from today to prepare your post. I hope you’ll join in, but of course it’s OK if you don’t feel like it 🙂
